Island Fish Head
Designing a visual identity for a Jamaican restaurant and smoothie bar.
Project background
Island Fish Head · Jay’s Smoothie Bar is a Jamaican restaurant and smoothie bar. Dalc’s in-house design team drew the identity as a working system: a full-colour mascot badge and a one-colour roundel, a 6-colour palette with its codes, a Baloo 2 and Nunito type pairing, and a watermark rule for photography.
The brand’s own line, set in the type specimen: Good food. Fresh smoothies. Island vibes.

Our role
Our design team drew the mark — a full-colour mascot badge — and built the system around it, so Island Fish Head can use it without asking: a full-colour mascot badge and a one-colour roundel, the palette above with every code written down, a type pairing for headlines and body copy, and a watermark rule so the brand signs its own photographs.
Everything on this page comes from the brand board we delivered. The photographs are mockups we made to show the identity at work — on a sign, on packaging, on something people wear or carry.
